British Open

The British Open is the oldest of the four major golf championships, having first been played at Prestwick Golf club in Scotland way back in 1860. It remains to this day the only golf major to be played outside of the USA.

Traditionally, The Open is played in mid-July, after the Masters and the US Open and before the PGA Championship. The Open differs from the other golf majors, in that it is generally played on a links course which makes the tournament very different to its counterparts.

SGH Sporting Events can tailor packages for The Open to fulfil every client’s dreams and the limit will only be your budget. Whether you are looking for a short weekend stopover to simply take in the final two rounds, or a longer stay to make the most of the practice rounds, as well as the main tournament, along with the odd round or two yourself, simply contact SGH with your requirements.
